2009, so what's next?

With both my daughters sound asleep, I anxiously waited for the spark of fireworks from KLCC and dataran.. I was watching Astro Awani, announcing bad and sad news seconds after another.. well.. 2009 does not seem to be that promising, so say the experts.. I, however still have positive hope.. the fireworks supposed to chase those devil spirits away.. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1... here comes 2009!! So, what's next??

Early this year, we send our daughter, Zulaila, to a chinese primary school.. She had 1 month of twice-weekly tuition of 2 hours each before starting school.. Now, after 6 months, she's speaking chinese already!!! Ahh, kids.. they pick up fast and easily... and that motivates me to learn too..I guess it's never too late, right? Let's see what are on my to learn list: Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, Italian and Spanish.. emmm.. cela fait beaucoup, non? Anyway, I've decided! Spanish first.. so, why don't you join me here?

Tap water.

A compact powder atmost.. most of the time, my daughter's baby powder...

I like the smell of whitemusk... even then.. rarely put any perfume on...

Never colored my nails, si.. une fois.. avec de l'henne..

My Feet:
I never wear socks.. so, they smell ok I guess.. no beauty products needed..

My Hands:
Handwash liquid will do just fine..

After my daughter Zulaila, now it's my turn!! Welcome Mr. Varicella Zoster.. I wonder how you knew that I've never been infected by you before... After surviving for more than 30 years...Ish, ish, ish.....

Chickenpox is a highly contagious illness caused by primary infection with varicella zoster virus (VZV). It generally begins with conjunctival and catarrhal symptoms and then characteristic spots appearing in two or three waves, mainly on the body and head rather than the hands and becoming itchy raw pockmarks, small open sores which heal mostly without scarring.

Chickenpox has a 10-21 day incubation period and is spread easily through aerosolized droplets from the nasopharynx of ill individuals or through direct contact with secretions from the rash. Following primary infection there is usually lifelong protective immunity from further episodes of chickenpox.

Chickenpox is rarely fatal, although it is generally more severe in adults than in children. Pregnant women and those with a suppressed immune system are at highest risk of serious complications. The most common late complication of chicken pox is shingles, caused by reactivation of the varicella zoster virus decades after the initial episode of chickenpox.

Areen was born on 15th May 2001... We had a small birthday cake on Thursday 15th. Areen was very happy.. and last sunday, to celebrate with friends, we had areen's birthday party. Thank you all for coming and for the lovely presents... later, areen has her latest birthday present...CHICKEN POX!!!

Les parents de Stephanie, une bonne copine de fac d'Angers, sont en Malaisie pour 2 jours. Ils font un tour de l'Asie de Sud-Est.. Je suis vraiment, vraiment ravie de les rencontrer.. Mes soeurs et moi (et la petite Aqeela, biensur) sont allees les retrouver a Sg. Wang pour ensuite les emmener a la tour de KL..

"Je t'imagine plus mince...", a dit la maman.. Et oui, c'etait il y a 10 ans.. Et j'ai pris des tonnes de poids depuis..uhuk,uhuk..

Mouse Mousie

We are sending Areen to music lessons.. she has to pop in the middle as the classe already started few months ago.. so, after two(2) evaluation/trial classes, she is accepted. It's a rather excellent music centre as the children are taught the sense of music before really choose an instrument. There are lots of fun and games as not to scare or bore the little ones.. babies as early as new born could start lessons!! So, Aqeela, when is your turn? Attend un peu la, huh?! While waiting, you'll dance over some salsa music with umi, ok chérie? Haha..
